Emphasize The Social

The last key to onboarding excellence is to really emphasize the social.

Social? How can one socialize remotely?

Well first, we’ll need to redefine our definition of “socializing” for a remote-first world. No longer should socialize only mean “making connections en masse in a physical space”. We should now include “1-1 catchups and introductions over video”.

Encourage new hires to bring their authentic selves to the workplaces and to get to really know their coworkers.
